Don't make a girl a promise... if you know you can't keep it.
The UNSC A.I. Serial Number CTN 0452-9, or more commonly known as Cortana, is a recurring protagonist in the Halo series, and a wrestler for EDBW. Originally laying dormant in a drawer for a period of months, she was discovered during Killscreen V by Aya Brea, and the pair managed to stop Monokuma from causing any further harm, joining the active roster the following season.
In the Halo SeriesEdit
Developed in the year 2549 using a flash cloned copy of Dr. Catherine Halsey's brain, Cortana was an A.I. developed with the primary intention of software infiltration and assisting the soldiers of the SPARTAN-II Program, where she would be eventually partnered with her future best friend and savior of humanity Spartan John-117, more commonly known as the Master Chief. After the Fall of Reach in 2552, she escaped into slipspace aboard the UNSC Pillar of Autumn with Master Chief and everyone aboard, soon coming a mysterious ring-shaped world known as Installation 04, the first of many Halo Rings they would discover in the course of their galactic quest to stop a group of alien species, and then parasite monsters, and then the remnants of a 100,000 year race of humanity's predecessors.
An incarnation of her also exists in your Windows™ 10™ software, helping you to keep track of your day-to-day routine and deliver witty banter. Eat your heart out, Siri.
Cortana was first discovered by a curious Aya Brea searching through Monokuma's draw in the closing stages of Season 5, and, with her help, was able to hack into all of Monokuma's systems, overriding any and all control he had, and setting the EDBW Arena on course back down to the surface. Monokuma then proceeded to crash, to Cortana's curiousity.
Season 6: Prepare To DropEdit
A few weeks after returning to earth, Cortana asked Teddie to turn the Monokuma unit back on so that she could scan through his data to discover who his accomplice was. However, as it turns out, his memory had been wiped as a result of the crash, leaving them back at square one. She didn't have time to rest easy however, as her debut match was shortly afterwards, facing KOS-MOS. How an artificial intelligence is capable of wrestling is a mystery, but that is for another time. The two went back and forth with each other in an Extreme Rules Falls Count Anywhere before Cortana scored the victory with The Flood (One of her signature moves, not the alien parasite).
