WVGCW Co-Op Team
Camstrings is a dissolved tag team consisting of Cammy and Chun-Li. Their team name is a play on words of hamstring, a series of muscles in the leg; representing Chun-Li, and Cammy's name. The team's partnership ended when Chun-Li betrayed her ally during a match.
In the Street Fighter seriesEdit
Chun-Li and Cammy were both characters of the fighting game classic Street Fighter 2 and have been featured prominently throughout the franchise's history. Being two of the most prominent and recognizable female fighting game characters in the world, Cammy and Chun-Li have teamed up various times in sequels or spin-offs of the main series. Previous team ups include the Japan-only released Namco X Capcom crossover game with regular Chun-Li but the Alpha version of Cammy. With the release of Street Fighter x Tekken, Cammy and Chun-Li would once again team up bringing much pain to any adversaries that would cross their path. Even when not directly teaming up, both Cammy and Chun-Li feature prominently in each other's storylines such as the Alpha series and any animated movies based on the Street Fighter storyline.
In the VGCW: Female DivisionEdit
Camstrings was formed in an attempt to even the odds in a match against the newly formed Saints Roll during a brief feud with Shaundi. Chun-Li was incapacitated during a Fatal Four-Way match that happened a few weeks before, and this was her returning match. Each wrestler in the fight avoids their personal rivals in some form of a strategy, but for Camstrings this fails as they lose their debut match.
