The HeistEdit

Artificial 18 is an impostor Android 18 created by Dr. Gero, introduced to Bryn McMahon on 2013-04-12 as an upgrade for Android 18. Secretly, Artificial 18 was a mole sent to steal Bryn's artifact for Dr. Gero on behalf of Carmen Sandiego. As the real Android 18 was forced to return to Gero's lab for dismantling, Artificial 18 took her place in a Hell In A Cell match against Samus Aran. Aran defeated Artificial 18, unaware that she was fighting an impostor. Ten days later, at the end of the following WVGCW broadcast on 2013-04-22, the real Android 18 escaped from Gero's lab to accuse her doppelganger of stealing Bryn McMahon's artifact. This caused much trouble for Android 18, as Artificial 18's absenses caused much trouble for the original version from the rest of the crew. Even with Bryn's trust in proving the truth, Android 18 felt the brunt of misdirected suspicion directed towards her.

The HuntEdit

On 2013-05-13, Artificial 18 returned for another match, again posing as the real Android 18 against Rinoa in the first round of the Gurl Gamer #1 Contender tournament. Halfway through the Extreme Rules match, Android 18 ran out from backstage and joined the fray to help put down the impostor. Artificial 18 managed to sneak away and let Android 18 continue the match on her own behalf. Unfortunately for Artificial 18, Android 18 was still full of vigor after winning that match, and challenged the doppelganger to a Hell In A Cell match that evening. Artificial 18 scoffed at the challenge, but ultimately had to accept with a bit of persuasion by recently-promoted Security Guard L. Artificial 18 proved that her improved programming was superior to the original, and pinned Android 18 after a dominating performance. When hope had been lost for the good android, Videl stepped into the ring, following in her father's footsteps and helping to defeat the evil Artificial 18. Soon after, Artificial 18 was destroyed by Android 18 in an undisclosed location, presumedly the former laboratory of the late Dr. Gero. Luckily, enough of Artificial 18 was preserved for Android 18 to update herself. Artificial 18's wardrobe was also raided to replace the jacket that was destroyed.
